A Really Warm and Wonderful Place to Visit
EXTRA 30 MINUTES ADDED
Alberton Library is officially open 11:30 - 5:30 pm come November 2022. Librarian Connie Acker notes that the Senior Citizens who gather for a noon lunch in the Community Center, which houses our library, liked getting early access. So now everyone can enter, too!
FUNDRAISING SUCCESS 2021
Helena Clay Arts Guild Donation Raises $3,257
A big heartfelt shoutout goes to the Helena Clay Arts Guild for supplying the beautiful pottery for our July 17th (Alberton Railroad Day) and June 18th (Petty Creek) fundraisers. Thanks to Karlene Zunino and Katie Vesel and all who helped and shopped.

Funds will primarily be used to purchase books and DVDs. Our book budget comes mostly from monies raised by the Friends of the Library. We use county funds to add 4-6 books each month. The remaining purchases come from Friends.

FUNDRAISING OCTOBER
Mini Book Sale on Display Outside
Nets $$ for Alberton Branch Library
October's selection of Books For Sale, placed outside & purchased for a donation, was a success. Thanks for those who took home some great stories.
The RUTH SYPIAN Garden blooms outside the Alberton Public Library (entrance from Park side) on Railroad Avenue in the spring of 2020.
NEW SHELVING & CARPETING
A heartfelt thanks to our work crews who helped pack up all the books and videos (130+ boxes), front desk, chairs, and computer desks in early February of 2020.  With the help of the Petty Creek Ranch boys and our staff, we moved out and back in every single bookcase!
Thank you, too, for those who helped feed us.  The new carpet in the Alberton Library looks fantastic.

The new bookcases were built by Ralph and Steve Gregory. Thanks!
