SUMMER READING PROGRAM 2024
Thanks to all who joined our Summer Reading Program. Designed for ages two to 17, we had raffle tickets that led to prizes. Let's do it again next year.
HOW TO PARTICIPATE:
1) Get a Reading Log from the Librarian.
2) Check out some books & start reading!
3) Every 20 minutes of reading, FILL IN CIRCLE.
4) Log 10 sessions (circles) in a row & show Librarian.
5) Get a Prize. Plus a Grand Prize Raffle Ticket.
6) Come to Thursday Storytime & get a Raffle Ticket
7) Grand Prizes announced Thursday, August 1st.
Hello Blue! Happy Retirement Connie
Come celebrate our long-time librarian Connie Acker on Thursday, Feb 15th at 12:30 pm. Connie stepped down from her leadership role Dec. 2023. Blue Cutler is the new Branch Librarian. Connie will continue to substitute with Melissa Pendley as needed. We thank them all for serving our community.
NEW HOURS OF OPERATION
As of Tuesday, September 17th, the Alberton Public Library will be open three days a week.
We remain open on Tuesdays and Thursdays, but the hours of operation change to 11 am to 4 pm. Plus, we're offeringSaturday hours 11 am to 3 pm.
We hope you can join us for our first Saturday and many visits ahead!
ALBERTON LIBRARY WINS GRANTS
The Mineral Independent in June highlighted the success of Librarian Blue Cutler and the Mineral County Public Library in securing grants from the Pilcrow Foundation, Blackfoot Communications and the Town Pump for the Alberton Branch Library. Read the news here.
