A big heartfelt shoutout goes to the Helena Clay Arts Guild for supplying the pottery. Note, we had a few locally donated pieces as well. We've thanked them by mail and on Facebook. We also sent them some pictures from our event(s). Alberton Friends are so fortunate to have such a talented and generous partner supporting our library.
Funds will primarily be used to purchase books and DVDs. Our book budget comes mostly from monies raised by the Friends of the Library. We use county funds to add 4-6 books each month. The remaining purchases come from Friends.

FUNDRAISING SUCCESS
Helena Clay Arts Guild Donation
Raises $3,257 For Branch Library
The Friends of the Library Pottery Sale held on July 17th (Alberton Railroad Day) raised $457. Combined with the $2800 raised on the June 18th sale up Petty Creek, the pottery donated by the Helena Clay Arts Guild netted the Library and its programs $3257.
This fundraising was a fantastic success! Thanks to Karlene Zunino, who ran the Railroad Day pottery sale using the items left over from the June sale, which relied on Katie Vesel’s organizational skills and energy. We thank all those who helped with the set up, pack up, and shopped!!! We had some amazing donations!
