FUNDRAISER
SUCCESS 2020-Style

ONLINE Facebook Fundraising Campaigns netted more than $700 for Library Programs, including our Summer Reading Contest.

WE WON PILCROW GRANT
Thanks to The Pilcrow Foundation for awarding the Mineral County Library a grant that puts 69 new kids books on our shelves for checkout! We learned of our award the summer of 2019. The goal of the Foundation is to provide quality hardcover books to rural libraries. Come see us today!
Banned Book Week
We celebrated the freedom to read during 2020 Banned Books Week: Sept. 27 - Oct 3.
 
Winners received a Baking Cookbook and aprons for all kids. Thanks to all who participated in the challenge and enjoyed some prize winning pies with us!

Each summer, the Friends of the Library offers children a six-week Reading Program with prizes and a pool party. Plus, Reading in the Park every Thursday at noon. We also offer Reading Contests for Teens and Adults.
