How to Set Up Your Own “My Bistro” Account
Visit our web page www.mineralcountylibrary.org and click on “Catalog”
1. Click on “Login to My Library Account” on the dark blue toolbar near the top of the page. A “My Library Account” box will appear.
2. Enter your Alternate ID (get from Librarian) in the Alternate ID# box – use all caps, no spaces
3. In the “PIN” box enter the PIN number you chose when you got your card, or, if you didn’t choose one, use CHANGEME (no spaces, all caps). Then click on “login”
From this new screen you can review your account, renew materials, change your PIN number, or even notify us of a change of address or phone number.
Review My Account – will bring up a list of everything currently checked out on your record, along with its due date.
Renew My Materials – will bring up a list of items eligible for renewal. To renew an item click on the box next to the title, then click on the light blue bar at the bottom that says Renew Selected Items. It will then bring up a screen with the new due date (or, if for some reason it did not renew, it will give you the reason).
User PIN Change – If you want to change your PIN number, click on this box. Enter your new PIN number in the appropriate box, then re-enter it and click on Change PIN.
Change My Address – Fill in each box with the new information and click on send.
